Included in our Nationwide Shipping price is shipping to the contiguous lower 48 states. We work hard to keep our shipping rates competitive. We partner with both freight and parcel shipping providers to get your furniture in your door, hassle free. Smaller items may ship UPS® parcel, and will be delivered as a normal package. Larger items may ship via FedEx® freight or another carrier and will be delivered curbside at a your delivery address. No assembly, unpackaging, or removal of packing materials is included. Freight deliveries require an adult recipient to be present. Deliveries are typically made between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday. A delivery agent will typically call you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment, generally within a 4 hour window.
Prior to shipment, We carefully inspect and package each item. Inspection and signature by an adult is required upon delivery to you by the shipping company. Carefully inspect all items for completeness, condition, and for the condition of packaging materials. IF YOU FIND DAMAGE TO AN ITEM OR THE PACKAGING MATERIALS, OR IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE AN ITEM LISTED ON THE BILL OF LADING OR PACKING LIST, YOU MUST WRITE A DESCRIPTION OF THE OBSERVED DAMAGE OR SHORTAGE ON THE BILL OF LADING. CLAIMS FOR DAMAGE OR SHORTAGE WILL BE REFUSED IF THEY ARE NOT NOTED ON THE BILL OF LADING. We recommend a minimum description of damage on the Bill of Lading similar to, “Possible Shipping Damage,” or for shortage, “Missing Item or Items.” After writing the damage or shortage on the Bill of Lading, please contact Fischer's immediately at 888-343-2022 or email sales@fischerfurnitureinc.com. Failure by you to document damage or shortage on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery will preclude you from remedy or recovery in the event damage or shortage is later reported by you.
