A Day in the Life of Furniture Assembly/Setup
You will be responsible for the assembly and in-store placement of home furnishing goods, including lifting and maneuvering heavy items (up to 75 lb.) on a regular basis. A typical day includes receiving new packaged merchandise, unboxing and assembling as per manufacturer instructions, and placement of the merchandise throughout the showroom location. Other duties include transferring of merchandise to other store locations, wrapping and loading out customer purchases, re-arranging store displays, and occasional warehouse duties. We offer hands-on training to help you succeed and grow.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
An ideal candidate is an energetic individual capable of lifting heavy products in a safe and professional matter while meeting our customer’s expectations and attending each scheduled shift. If you are motivated and enjoy hands-on work, this is a great opportunity for you. Other qualifications include:
- Working in a safe and courteous manner
- Setup and installation of furniture
- Wrapping and loading out customer purchases
- Prioritizing assigned tasks
- Accurately communicate and document transactions
- Assist in the warehouse as needed

Schedule
- 8+ Hour Shifts
- Saturdays
- 2 Days off per Week including Every Sunday Off
- Holidays except for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
Work Location
As a Furniture Assembly/Setup worker you will have an indoor showroom location where you work in Rapid City.
